When the leaves have not yet withered and their color not completely brown but some are still green and some have turned bright orange and red, it is a reminder that summer is leaving and winter is not yet here. The beauty of it all when the colors mix well—yellow, red and orange with a hint of green—is remarkably breathtaking. Then the leaves start to fall rapidly and they become crunchy. The children love to step on them, delighting in the noise they hear beneath their feet. I have to admit, I do it too because it’s fun. But besides the colors and fun of the fall season, have you ever wondered, thought about and considered the beauty Allah creates in the dying leaves? It truly is amazing.
And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is on the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but he knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record-Sura An’aam, verse 59
