The Official Rules Of The Liebster Award 

If you have been nominated for The Liebster Award AND YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, write a blog post about the Liebster award in which you:

  1. thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
  2. display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.)
  3. answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
  4. provide 11 random facts about yourself.
  5. nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have a less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)

1) The one thing that you wish to achieve in your life? What is stopping you from getting it?

Finish and memorize the entire Quran! What’s stopping me is not being committed and utilizing my time wisely 😦

2) Who is the person closest to your heart and what is that one quality in him/her that you love the most? (Living person preferably) 

My mother is the person that’s nearest and dearest to my heart. It’s hard to just choose one word but I guess since I must, I would say her forgiveness. She’s one to forgive easily and that is one of the best qualities a person can have.

3) One skill you wish you had and one thing you already have in yourself that you are proud of. 

I wish I was a good creative writer because I’m not. I’m not  oneto give up easily and I’m so proud of myself for being that, Alhamdulilah!

4) Do you consider yourself spiritual or moderately spiritual or not spiritual?

I’m definitely spiritual!

5) Your favourite blogger and why? You may name two so that I fit in too 😉

Haha! Indian Revert Muslimah, I love what you did there.  My favorite blogger as of now are many but a sister I just respect and admire so much for her great writing skills and strength is Asmaa Hussein of Ruqaya’s Book Shelf. MashaaAllah she’s awesome! And of course you Mis Indian Revert Muslimah! 😉

6) One thing about your country that you would like to change.

I would definitely change the violence. I hate it. I wish it was peaceful.

7) Your thought of an ideal life in this dunya.

For me, my children and my entire family to be well-mannered, strong, active, productive and dedicated Muslims and having a great successful career which I love.

8) Would you forgive someone who has immensely hurt you in exchange for him/ her being your neighbour in jannah?

Wow! This is a tough one. Well, if that’s someone that has qualities to enter Jannah, then I will definitely forgive them.

9) The three most beautiful names that you have heard.

Allah, Muhammad, Ibraheem

10) What is the genre you like to read?

I like to read creative non-fiction, or anything that’s written well.

11) The One question you hate answering. 😉

I really can’t think of one but in general , I just hate any question that’s too personal or evasive.

Now the hard part… I have to write 11 random facts about myself. I don’t think I have 11 but here it goes. 

1) I’m planning to give my blog, Muslim Mother Source a makeover by having someone redesign it and have it on a self-hosted site (I hope you all will follow me there too!)

2) I was extremely shy as a child and I kinda still am

3) I’m the only woman/girl in my home, everyone else is a little boy or a man, haha! I’m happy to be queen and princess of the family  🙂

4) I don’t know how to properly put on a full face of make up…I just know the simple stuff like putting on a lipstick/lip gloss and eyeliner! That’s why I’m always amazed at how some of the women on YouTube can transform themselves with makeup :0

5) I’m terrified of posting pictures of myself or children on social media.

6) I have over 20 nieces and nephews! May Allah protect each and every one of them.

7) I was confused as to what career to choose in college and it took me a very very very long time to finally just choose a major; I majored in writing. But now, alhamdulilah I know my most important career, one that will never change and that is being a mother; best career in the world!

8) My least favorite season is the summer season. I hate the heat!

9) I’m not living close to any family members…to have such a big family and not live close to any of them just makes feel so 😥

10) I used feel old when I was actually young and now that I’m getting older I feel young…strange, I know!

11) This is such a bad habit, but I eat really fast…whether it’s a small snack or a full meal, I eat it fast! I’ve been working on eating slowly and I’m improving.
